We are looking to connect with professionals who have expertise in the housing sector and an interest in contributing to the design and delivery of Level 4 and Level 5 Chartered Institute of Housing qualifications. As the Competence & Conduct Standard comes into effect in October 2026, this role will play a key part in shaping the future of housing education and supporting the professionalisation of the sector. If you have experience within housing, enjoy supporting others in their development, and are excited by the idea of teaching, training, and curriculum design, we'd love to hear from you.

Taking Teaching Further & Additional Incentives. If you’re making the move into further education teaching, you may be eligible for the Taking Teaching Further (TTF) programme, a funded route to help industry professionals retrain as FE teachers. In addition, for roles in high‑need subjects or regions you may also benefit from the government’s targeted retention incentive (formerly "levelling‑up premium") payments, worth up to £6,000 for eligible teachers in their first five years and teaching certain shortage subjects. Please note eligibility for both TTF and the Targeted Retention Incentive varies by role, subject area and provider, they do not apply to every vacancy.
