We are working with a well-established and growing engineering manufacturer based near Huddersfield, delivering specialist equipment and solutions into highly regulated and technical industries.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Controls Engineer to support the development of advanced control systems across their product range.

The Role

As a Controls Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, programming, and development of control systems for bespoke engineered solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• PLC programming and development (from scratch and modification)
• Design and implementation of control systems for specialist equipment
• Commissioning and testing of systems (on-site and occasionally at customer sites)
• Working closely with mechanical and electrical design teams
• Supporting continuous improvement and innovation in control strategies
• Troubleshooting and fault-finding on existing systems
