An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Leicester. This role would suit a solicitor with 2-6 years’ PQE looking to join a stable and supportive team, handling high-quality work across a broad range of employment matters.
The Role
You will join an experienced Employment team advising both employers and employees on a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious matters. You have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while also supporting more complex matters.
The work will include:
- Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing claims
- Managing Employment Tribunal matters from start to finish
- Drafting and advising on contracts of employment and policies
- Supporting corporate transactions with employment law input
- Providing day‑to‑day HR and strategic employment advice to clients
You will also have the opportunity to be involved in business development and building client relationships.
The Candidate
You will be a qualified solicitor with 2-6 years’ PQE and solid experience in employment law. You should be confident managing your own caseload, with strong technical skills and a commercial, client‑focused approach.
