Description: Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Permanent. The Works Planner within Housing’s Asset Management & Investment (AMI) operational support team plays a vital role in supporting statutory compliance and safeguarding the long‑term sustainability of the Authority’s housing portfolio. The post helps ensure that our homes remain safe, compliant, and well maintained. This position requires strong technical understanding, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate a wide range of property‑related activities within a busy operational environment. This is a full‑time, permanent role working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. You’ll be based at Mowmacre Hill Hub, Jersey Road, Leicester, LE4 2LT.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Organising and coordinating daily and scheduled works – managing routine inspections, property surveys, emergency repairs, and cyclical maintenance programmes delivered through the section.
- Providing comprehensive administrative support – supporting service operations through accurate record‑keeping, workflow management, data entry, and effective communication across teams.
- Offering detailed advice and information – acting as a key point of contact for staff, tenants, and contractors, providing clear guidance and support, resolving queries, and maintaining high service standards.
