Join our STC Department as a Senior Loans Associate and take a key leadership role in supporting life‑changing orthopaedic surgery across the UK. You’ll supervise and develop the team, manage the movement of implants and instrument sets, and act as deputy to the GDC & Loans Manager.
In this fast‑paced operational role, you’ll coordinate inbound and outbound kit movements, ensure accurate ERP processing, uphold quality and safety standards, and keep our customers informed. You’ll champion 5S, support continuous improvement, and will ensure stock is stored, managed, and distributed through internal systems in a timely and cost-effective manner, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
What you’ll do?
- Manage the movement of instrument kits using WebOps and Sage.
- Coordinate the booking in process for all incoming instrument sets and implants, ensuring timely entry into the ERP system.
- Oversee on time outbound shipments and replenishment activities.
- Supervise, motivate, and support the training and development of the Assistants and Associates within the team.
- Maintain training plans, audit buddy sheets, and ensure ongoing competence and compliance.
- Act as the first point of escalation for operational or customer issues.
- Ensure all team members follow Work Instructions (WIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and visual aids.
- Communicate effectively with Customers, Sales Representatives, and Management regarding delays, updates, or issues.

- Has experience of mentoring, training, and supporting others
- Communicates clearly and works confidently under pressure
- Is skilled with Excel, ERP systems, and booking platforms
- Keeps calm, organised, and solutions‑focused in a busy environment
- Is confident making quick, appropriate decisions under pressure and know when to elevate
