We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist based in Luton, UK. This role supports our commitments for various airline customers onsite at our Customer. The primary responsibility is to ensure materials required for maintenance activities and defects are available when required as per the maintenance schedules.

The role will coordinate across multiple departments, including the Program Management Office, Asset Managers, Supplier Management/partnerships to ensure material availability in a cost‑effective manner while maintaining service levels and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Customer’s “go to” person for all operational matters
  • Handle ordering and shipments to support regular and heavy check maintenance and defect activities
  • Manage and coordinate cross‑departmental collaboration for parts movement through the exchange and unserviceable return cycle, ensuring parts are shipped and statused in business systems appropriately
  • Coordinate and replenish material held at the customer, ensuring inventory aligns with contract and systems reflect it accurately
  • Resolve issues relating to parts arriving at the customer store locations that are damaged or uncertified
  • Project‑manage large projects according to timeline, budget, scope and C‑level relationships/expectations
  • Participate in end‑to‑end implementation planning and manage day‑to‑day execution of project implementations
  • Assist with planning, tracking, documentation, issue management and status updates for the project
  • Lead analysis and maintenance of customer data to ensure scorecards are updated, working with supply‑chain and other functions to develop standardized analytic tools
  • Gather raw system data, apply contractual or interface manual adjustments and submit
  • Support Boeing in SL discussions, providing additional context and root‑cause information
  • Create dashboards
  • Engage in customer reporting meetings (quarterly, monthly, weekly) with Boeing & Customer
  • Help lead customer‑specific issues for pool performance, concerns, SL challenges and problems that arise
  • Act as a backup to other on‑site employees for tactical activities associated with the customer account throughout different fleet programs and share best practices

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in airline/aviation MRO materials management and supply‑chain logistics (preferred but not essential)
  • Proven analytical experience and ability to use data effectively to influence people within a cross‑functional team
  • Proven project‑management skills to drive program improvements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to project a positive customer experience
  • Ability to adapt and make quick decisions in high‑pressure, dynamic situations
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum direct supervision
  • Verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • AMOS/SAP experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of VBA, SQL & Tableau/BI tools (preferred but not essential)
  • Advanced MS Office skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, including macros, pivot tables and advanced functions

Location: Luton, UK – the selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at the listed location.
