Job Description:

OMNES is a fast-growing London label that’s changing the face of sustainable fashion. Responsibly produced and affordably priced, it’s a much-needed antidote to the disposable approach of big name fast-fashion brands, offering up clothes that are considered and impeccably made without costing the planet.

The Role

The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring OMNES runs efficiently, profitably, and at scale. You will own the day-to-day operational performance of the business across logistics, fulfilment, stock management, suppliers, and systems, while working closely with Finance, Buying, E-commerce, and Retail teams.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment and is comfortable balancing detail with big‑picture thinking.

  • Manage end‑to‑end logistics across inbound freight, warehousing, fulfilment, and returns

  • Own relationships with 3PLs, couriers, and freight partners; negotiate rates and service levels

  • Monitor delivery performance, lead times, costs, and SLAs, driving continuous improvement

Stock & Inventory Management

  • Oversee stock accuracy across systems, warehouses, and stores

  • Work closely with Buying and Merchandising to manage intake, allocations, and stock risk

  • Lead stock reconciliations, write‑offs, and cycle counts

Operational Performance & Cost Control

  • Own operational KPIs including fulfilment cost per order, returns rates, stock turn, and shrinkage

  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to support scale

  • Support margin improvement through cost control and operational optimisation

Systems & Processes

  • Own operational workflows across ERP, WMS, Shopify, and third‑party tools

  • Lead operational system improvements and support new system implementations where required

  • Ensure processes are documented, scalable, and audit‑ready

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Finance on forecasting, cashflow, and stock reporting

  • Support E‑commerce and Retail teams with launches, peak trading, and promotions

  • Act as a key operational problem‑solver across the business

People & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage and develop junior operations team members where applicable

  • Act as a key point of contact for external partners and suppliers

  • Maintain high standards of communication, accountability, and delivery

About You

  • 4–7+ years’ experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics within fashion, retail, or e‑commerce

  • Strong understanding of DTC fulfilment and wholesale operations

  • Commercially minded with strong numerical and analytical skills

  • Confident managing external partners and negotiating contracts

  • Highly organised, detail‑driven, and comfortable in ambiguity

  • Proactive, resilient, and solutions‑focused

  • Experience with Shopify, ERP/WMS systems strongly preferred
