We are seeking a Business Development Executive to generate new business opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships by delivering consultancy-led solutions across multiple sectors.
The Role
- Drive new business acquisition across sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, food production, and commercial property.
- Develop and grow existing client accounts through structured upselling and cross-selling of consultancy services.
- Maintain a balanced pipeline of marketing-generated leads and self-sourced opportunities.
- Undertake proactive outbound prospecting (approximately 50% of activity).
- Deliver consultative discussions around compliance and technical advisory services.
- Prepare tailored proposals and commercial documentation.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and reporting.
- Conduct client site visits where appropriate.
- Achieve quarterly revenue targets through acquisition and account growth.
What Success Looks Like
- Completion of a comprehensive induction program.
- Pipeline established early and revenue targets achieved within the first three months.
- Consistent monthly performance across new business and account development.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in B2B sales with consultative and new business experience.
- Confidence generating opportunities through outbound activity.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and develop long-term client relationships.
- Comfortable selling consultancy-led or technical service-based solutions.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability.
- Experience managing pipelines and activity through a CRM system.
- Sector-specific knowledge or experience highly desirable.
- Highly organised, resilient, and target-driven.
