Director, POM Product Management Manager – Enterprise Custody Platform

Responsibilities

  • Set a clear product vision and communicate it effectively
  • Own end-to-end delivery on pod outcomes, including software delivery and operating models, where applicable
  • Translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for your team; maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team
  • Facilitate release planning with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product vision aligns within platform strategy and requirements
  • Accountable for product specific business outcomes once solution enters production, and communicating with stakeholders
  • Support messaging, communication and client outreach as necessary
  • Monitor the risk and regulatory environment and partner with senior management to consider changes to deliverables as needed

Qualifications

  • Expertise
    • Experience as a product owner and with agile ways of working, including sprint planning and backlog prioritization
    • Experience articulating a roadmap
    • Some relevant institutional banking domain expertise and knowledge, ideally in the Custody business and trade/instruction capture
    • Experience with leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders in a complex organization
  • Individual skills
    • Strong leader, collaborator, team player, and individual contributor
    • Good communication skills, both with team and executives
    • Ability to leverage multiple influencing techniques to motivate a team
    • Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
