Special Needs Teaching Assistant required to support KS1 children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), Complex Learning Needs, SEMH and Sensory processing differences in a Romford School.

Are you a nurturing, proactive and fun Special Needs Teaching Assistant with a passion to make a difference to a young life?

To start 13th April 2026 – Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm with a 30 minute lunch (term time only)

Special Needs Teaching Assistant Role:

  • To work alongside the class Teacher in supporting the student with their learning.
  • To work with the children as 1-1 support, in small groups and within the classroom setting.
  • Good communication, organisational skills, patient and fun.
  • Experience and knowledge working with students that have ASD, Sensory, SEMH and Complex Learning Needs.
  • Qualified with a L2/L3 Teaching Assistant, Care or SEND qualification.
