Busy independent garage specialising in Land Rover, VW Group, BMW,Merc and other prestige vehicles is looking for a dependable, experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team.
This role is ideal for an experienced technician from either a main dealer or independent garage who wants a better work-life balance and varied, hands-on mechanical work.
Hours
* Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm* Saturday overtime available (optional)* Closed between Christmas & New Year
The Role
You will carry out a wide range of mechanical repairs and servicing to a high standard, including:
* Routine servicing & maintenance* Brakes, suspension & steering work* Clutches & timing belts/chains* Engine & turbo repairs* Vehicle health checks* Basic diagnostics required. Advanced diagnostic work available for the right candidate, including ECU programming/remapping and DPF/AdBlue system diagnosis and repair* Mot testing (MOT licence not essential — *training can be provided for the right candidate)*
