We are currently seeking a Mechanical & Parts Technician to join our team working on commercial vehicles. Applicants should be Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Maintenance/Automotive Engineering or have demonstrable time-served experience within the commercial vehicle industry.
This role involves both hands-on mechanical maintenance and repair as well as parts identification and management, helping to ensure our commercial fleet is maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on commercial vehicles
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Identify, source, and manage vehicle parts required for repairs and maintenance
- Assist with parts ordering, stock control, and inventory management
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company and industry standards
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance/Automotive Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience working with commercial vehicles (e.g., vans, xwzovoh fleet vehicles)
- Strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills
- Good knowledge of vehicle parts and components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
