This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are in optimal condition for our customers.
*Position: *Vehicle Technician
*Location: *Os-carz Ltd, Norwich
*Brands: *Primarily VAG group vehicles
*Salary: *£30,000-£40000
*Work Pattern: *Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm. No Saturdays
*Holiday: *28 Days including bank holidays. Extra paid leave over the Christmas period.
*Responsibilities*
* Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using appropriate tools and equipment.* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.* Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as necessary.* Assemble components and systems according to schematics and specifications.* Maintain a clean and safe working environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.* Assist in heavy lifting of equipment or parts as required during repairs or maintenance tasks.
*Skills*
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.* Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their concerns.* Proficiency in maintaining various types of vehicles and equipment repair techniques.* Ability to read and interpret schematics for assembly and repair tasks.* Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.* Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs or maintenance activities.* Welding skills are advantageous but not mandatory for this position. xwzovoh
