Early Years Educator – Tulse Hill
Agency Position via Reed Education (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
Reed Education are recruiting on behalf of a warm, inclusive, and community-focused Nursery School in Tulse Hill. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join their friendly and highly collaborative early years team.
About the Role
As an Early Years Educator, you will act as a Key Person, working closely with:
- A Class Teacher who oversees the room
- Three other Key Persons
- Three Teaching Assistants
Teaching Assistants support small groups of up to eight children, while Key Persons may be responsible for slightly larger groups. You will contribute significantly to children’s development, wellbeing, and learning through high-quality interactions, care, and planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Key Person for your allocated group of children
- Plan independently for group-time sessions
- Contribute to weekly communal planning with the wider team
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Ensure the learning environment is nurturing, safe, and stimulating
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality early years provision
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential)
- Experience supporting early years development
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Ability to plan engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Warm, professional, and collaborative approach
Contract Details
- Agency role with the potential to go temp-to-perm
- Based in Tulse Hill
- Full-time, during school term time
