We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated Customer Service Officer. This role is crucial for administering a new licensing scheme for private rented homes in the city, ensuring landlords meet safety and management standards. This is an entry-level position with comprehensive training provided, ideal for individuals committed to delivering excellent customer service and quality.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Initially, the role requires on-site training for the first two months; thereafter, it transitions to a mostly remote setup, with occasional office visits (1-2 times per month).
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing high-quality customer service.
- Use detailed procedure notes and complex information systems to process licensing applications accurately.
- Respond to a high volume of emails and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Adapt to legislative changes swiftly and implement new procedures as required.
- Engage in continuous learning to retain critical information and improve service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to handle diverse tasks and high-volume work environments.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
