An established and fast-growing business within the renewable energy sector is seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role in its next phase of growth. This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded marketer to become the first dedicated marketing hire in the business, offering the chance to make a tangible impact, shape the role from the ground up, and influence how marketing supports long-term growth. The role comes with a salary of £35 – £42 dependant on experience, and a 5 day on-site working model, in a very buzzy, friendly office in Stratford -Upon-Avon.

The Opportunity

This role is ideally suited to a marketer with a passion for delivery, someone who enjoys turning plans into action, creating engaging content, and driving measurable results.

Working closely with senior leadership and a fractional Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day marketing activity, helping to build a consistent and effective presence across both domestic and commercial audiences . You’ll be joining at a time when the marketing strategy is being defined, to realise their vision, so excellent timing to start this new role!

As the sole marketing professional in the business, the role offers exceptional variety, including content writing and creation, digital campaigns, website management, case studies, events, partnerships, and sales support.

The Role

The Marketing Manager will:

  • Execute a structured marketing and content plan across digital channels
  • Create and optimise content for web, email and social media
  • Support lead generation across both B2C and B2B markets
  • Develop case studies and project-led storytelling
  • Manage website updates and ensure messaging consistency
  • Collaborate with sales to support enquiries and pipeline growth
  • Work with external partners including designers and digital specialists
  • Track and analyse performance, continuously improving results

The position offers exposure to both domestic and commercial markets, providing a well-rounded marketing experience and strong foundation for future progression .

About you:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Around 3–5+ years’ experience in a marketing role
  • Strong writing ability and a passion for clear, digestible and engaging communications
  • Skilled in content creation and digital marketing
  • Proficient in software such as Hubspot, WordPress (basics) and Canva
  • Numerate and comfortable with data
  • Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with strong commercial awareness
  • Interest in sustainability, energy, or related sectors (preferred but not essential)
  • Enjoy working with people and collaborating in the physical environment

This role is particularly well suited to someone ready to step up, take ownership, and grow into a more senior marketing position over time.
