Job Description:

Transformation Communications Manager (FTC)

Location: London

Contract: Fixed‑term until June 2027

The Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Transformation Communications Manager to support a major business and technology transformation programme. This is a delivery‑focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys being embedded in a fast‑moving programme environment and taking ownership of communications end‑to‑end.

You’ll play a key role in enabling the successful adoption of new enterprise systems, including a significant Oracle Fusion upgrade and Workday optimisation, working closely with change, technology and business teams. This is not a purely strategic or BAU communications role – it’s about making things happen, producing high‑quality content and ensuring messages land with the right audiences at the right time.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering transformation communications to support major system and process change
  • Creating clear, engaging content across multiple formats (announcements, FAQs, toolkits, intranet updates, leadership packs, etc.)
  • Developing and executing communications plans for Oracle and Workday initiatives
  • Segmenting audiences and tailoring messaging to different stakeholder groups
  • Working closely with Change Managers to align comms with adoption and readiness activity
  • Partnering with programme and subject‑matter experts to translate complex change into simple, actionable messages
  • Using BAU communications channels and templates while owning transformation‑specific content

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience delivering communications for a technology or business transformation programme
  • Strong, hands‑on content creation skills
  • Experience supporting system implementations or optimisations (ERP, finance or HR systems)
  • A practical, delivery‑oriented mindset – comfortable rolling your sleeves up
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence working across business and technology teams
  • Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in either London or Sunderland

Desirable

  • Experience working on Oracle, Workday, or similar enterprise systems
  • Background in head‑office or corporate systems transformation environments
