Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Prospecting: Identify and acquire new high-value accounts, specifically targeting retailers, interior designers, and the hospitality sector (hotels).
- Outreach: execute a proactive sales strategy, including cold calling, email outreach, and attending industry trade shows to generate leads.
- Pitching: Create and deliver compelling presentations to pitch our products to prospective clients.
- Negotiation: Manage pricing discussions and negotiate terms for bulk and volume orders to maximise revenue while maintaining margins.
- Store Presence: Working with retailers to get our branded products stocked in their stores
- Collaboration: Supporting the PR and Marketing team by representing the company in shows/events and other potential opportunities
Operations & Account Management
- Onboarding: Oversee the setup of new B2B clients, ensuring they have the necessary data, assets, and support to start ordering.
- Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary contact and trusted advisor
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure stock availability for bulk orders and forecast inventory needs based on the sales pipeline.
- Logistics & Fulfilment: Act as the liaison between the client and our logistics team to arrange shipping, freight, and delivery for large-scale orders.
Ideal Qualities
- Experience in B2B sales, wholesale, or business development.
- Strong ability to balance aggressive sales goals with operational detail (inventory/logistics).
- Self-reliant and proactive work ethic
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence in cold outreach and face-to-face networking at trade shows.
