Software Engineer

I’m working with a rapidly growing fintech trading platform who are expanding their backend engineering team in London.

They’re looking for a C# .NET engineer to join their core trading and transactions team, working on a proprietary platform that underpins real-time money movement and trade execution across a global client base.

You’ll be joining a strong, established team of engineers and will play a key role in building, optimising, and scaling critical backend systems.

The role

• Develop and deliver high-quality backend solutions in C#
• Work closely with Product, QA, and Tech Leads on new features and improvements
• Contribute to system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Take ownership of tasks through to production
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning

What they’re looking for

• 2+ years’ experience with C# / .NET (Core preferred)
• Experience working on transactional or financial systems
• Strong Git and Agile experience
• Confident working both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills

Nice to have:

• Kafka, Redis or similar
• AWS exposure
• Docker
