Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager Working on the Thames Water Capital Delivery Framework, working for an established Tier 1 Design & Build. Projects range in value from £5k to £15m.   This role is working in the Thames Valley region, whilst candidates would ideally be local to the area, candidates willing to travel 2/3 days a week can be considered as Hybrid working is offered. 

Sponsorship cannot be offered, candidates must have full RTW in the UK. 

Role Overview As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of complex engineering projects. You will lead the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders, your leadership will ensure alignment with organisational goals and client expectations.    Contracted to 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday. Management of staff and subcontractors working on assigned projects Taking responsibility for the health & safety of self and all under your control, completion of RAMS. Creation and management of the appropriate Project Documentation and control of project expenditure within a monthly project reporting structure Close liaison and management of the Client and other stakeholders as appropriate Proactively manage the impact on and protection of the environment.    Requirements

  • Proven project management experience in an industrial M&E / MEICA environment.
  • Experience in managing Engineering projects within the water industry (water and/or wastewater process projects).
  • Strong understanding of project planning, monitoring, and control methodologies.
  • Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
  • Sound knowledge of health & safety legislation and company-specific procedures.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience working with NEC suite of contracts.
  • Relevant City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in a technical/trade discipline. (Preferred)
  • Valid SMSTS and/or IOSH Managing Safely certification (Desirable)
