Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Metal Worker / Fabricator to join their dedicated workshop team. Role Overview
- Fabrication and assembly of bespoke metal signage and architectural components
- Working with aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel materials
- Reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings
- High-standard TIG and MIG welding
- Safe and efficient use of workshop machinery, hand tools, and equipment
- Completing work to quality standards within agreed deadlines
- Carrying out ISO and Quality Control data capture as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator / Welder
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and workshop techniques
- Confident working from technical drawings with accuracy
- Skilled in TIG and MIG welding
- Experience with sheet metal forming, including bending and press brake operation
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Able to work independently or collaboratively within a workshop team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Good understanding of health & safety standards
Desirable:
- Experience within the signage or architectural metalwork industry
- Additional skills in polishing, finishing, and assembly
Hours, Salary & Benefits
- Salary: 35,000 – 40,000 (experience dependent)
- Hours: 8-hour shifts, with overtime available
