The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Project Manager to support a Government Critical National Infrastructure project. The role involves managing the scheduling of project delivery, change and new business, supporting a multi‑functional team, and ensuring compliance with project milestones and customer KPIs and SLAs. This full‑time, permanent position requires SC clearance or willingness to undergo the clearance process.
Responsibilities
- Drive forward delivery of allocated projects within a workstream, leading and coordinating a cross‑functional team.
- Monitor and communicate status of all allocated projects internally with customers and external stakeholders, including project reporting inline with the agreed governance framework.
- Create, maintain and track schedules and the timelines associated with delivery, including critical milestones.
- Scheduling of resources to fulfil project needs according to the agreed plans and the SATURN PMO to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Project risk and issue management in line with the programme procedures.
- Budget planning and financial control for allocated projects, reporting to the workstream lead and programme finance.
- Adhere to procedures for change as defined by the Programme PMO.
- Carry out escalations as needed via the agreed mechanisms.
- Stakeholder management and customer engagement to support successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in successfully managing projects or task work packages of small to medium size from initiation to completion.
- Experience working with the Defence or National Security Domain.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management.
- Good interpersonal skills and judgement for dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to communicate, negotiate and influence effectively.
- Enthusiastic self‑starter with strong verbal communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi‑tasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Project Management Certification preferred.
Clearance Requirements
You will be required to gain UK SC (Security Clearance) for this role. To be eligible you must have UK citizenship and have been a resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.

Pay Range
£44,700.00 – £57,300.00 (general guideline only, not a guarantee of compensation).
