Role description
Business Analyst for independent organization responsible for planning Britains entire energy system, operating the electricity network, and offering expert advice to the sectors decision- makers.
The Project ‘ CRM Transformation’ is focused on improving the current CRM processes, Implement new automated process and products on salesforce Platform. support a large-scale Salesforce Transformation Project.
The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyze, document, and optimize customer business processes, ensuring successful implementation of Salesforce solutions. This role requires strong skills in requirements gathering, BRD documentation, and familiarity with relevant tools and methodologies.
Key responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current processes and pain points. Conduct workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to capture detailed requirements.
- Business Process Documentation: Map existing business processes and identify gaps. Define future-state processes aligned with Salesforce capabilities.
- BRD & Functional Documentation: Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, and User Stories. Ensure traceability between requirements and solution design.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams. Communicate requirements clearly and manage expectations.
- Salesforce Transformation Support: Work with Salesforce architects and developers to validate solutions. Ensure alignment with best practices and platform capabilities.
- Demo, UAT Testing & Validation Support: UAT by preparing test scenarios and validating requirements.
- Tools & Methodologies: Utilize tools like ADO, Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, and MS Office Suite for documentation and collaboration.
- Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies for iterative delivery.
Key skills/knowledge/experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in CRM or Salesforce projects.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related modules.
- Expertise in business process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements documentation.
- Hands‑on experience with BRD creation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
