SEND Tutor and Teacher rolerequirements:

  • Experience: 2+ yearsteaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD,and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
  • Subjects: Familiarityteaching English, Maths, and/or Science
  • Qualifications: QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS (wecan facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professionalreferences
  • Location: You must be basedin the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote /online jobs
  • Safeguarding: Knowledge ofsafeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

The SEND Tutor and Teacher roleand responsibilities:

  • Provide in person,online / remote, andhybridMaths, English, orScience tuition to children, teenagers, and youngpeople with SEMH andSEND needs, includingMLD, SLD,PMLD, and otherAdditional EducationalNeeds
  • Support pupils andstudents, ranging from KS1 – KS5 (asappropriate for your skills), referred by localauthorities and schoolsby planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informedtutoring andmentoring
  • Planand report for lessons and provideregular feedback on studentprogress
  • We are on amission to raise thestandard of education provided toyoung people with SEND (SpecialEducation Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such asSEMH needs (Social, Emotional andMental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and youngpeople with MLD (Moderate LearningDifficulties), SLD (Severe LearningDifficulties), and PMLD (Profound andMultiple Learning Difficulties).
