Housing Options Officer needed in Nottingham Paying  £17.26 per hr ref OR26734

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities

• Provide housing options advice and homelessness prevention support
• Assess applications under Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 (as amended)
• Complete homelessness assessments and develop Personalised Housing Plans
• Explore and negotiate accommodation solutions, including private rented options
• Liaise with landlords and external partners to prevent homelessness
• Make and record lawful, well-evidenced decisions in line with legislation and guidance
• Maintain accurate case records and issue statutory correspondence
• Manage a caseload of prevention and relief cases within agreed timescales
