Autism Support Worker- Secondary SEN School
At Engage, we know that a school runs on quality support staff. We’ve spent over a decade building strong relationships with schools in Wakefield and we’re now looking to increase our pool of SEN Teaching Assistants in WF7. We have a variety of Teaching Assistant positions available, to start immediately.
The students have the following learning needs:
- Autism
- Severe Learning Difficulty
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty
It is also advantageous if the candidate has experience with sensory-based learning.
About the role:
- Secondary SEN school
- Small group work and intervention support responsibilities
- 1:1 support for special needs and lower-ability pupils
- Supporting students with challenging behaviour
