London – We are seeking an Arboricultural Consultant to join our Arboricultural Team and contribute to sustainable projects across the United Kingdom.
Your new role
As a member of our market‑leading team, you will collaborate with clients to deliver innovative, complex, and globally relevant arboricultural projects, including tree surveys and hazard assessments.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver arboricultural support functions for Local Planning Authorities.
- Undertake tree surveys in accordance with BS5837:2012 and prepare reports and plans.
- Act as an Arboricultural Clerk of Works/Arboricultural Works Site Supervisor.
- Conduct tree hazard assessment surveying (PTI/QTRA/THREATS).
- Help market and develop the Arboricultural services offered to new and existing clients.
About you
- Hold a degree or at least a Level 3 Arboricultural qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Arboriculture).
- Demonstrable experience with UK Planning systems, including the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 and the Tree Preservation Order process.
- Experience in tree surveying, including Visual Tree Assessments (VTA) and BS 5837:2012 surveys and reports in a consultancy or commercial setting.
- Robust knowledge of ArcGIS & CAD packages for plan submissions.
- Confident and effective communicator, capable of developing client relationships on site.
- Full clean UK driving licence to travel to various job sites as required.
