Neurology Trust Doctor: Patient Care & Clinic Support

Key Responsibilities

• Available for irregular commitments outside rostered duties as required for continuity of patient care.
• May be required to perform additional duties in exceptional circumstances.
• Subject to review of progress, including professional development activities.
• Supervised by a Consultant Neurologist responsible for education and career development.
• Eligible for study leave in accordance with medical staff terms and conditions.
• Support neurology clinics and ward rounds, working with Consultant Neurologists to see patients in outpatient settings.
• Ensure consistency of care for inpatients on the ward.
• Follow a timetable of sessions with supporting Consultants, including general outpatient consultations.
• Take part in formal ward rounds with and without supervising consultants.
