Typical areas of experience may include
- Supporting grid connection applications and related documentation
- Liaising with DNOs, IDNOs, ICPs, National Grid or other relevant stakeholders
- Assessing grid capacity, connection options and technical feasibility
- Coordinating grid connection activities across project development and delivery teams
- Reviewing connection offers, technical requirements and programme considerations
- Supporting renewable energy, battery storage, EV, utility or infrastructure projects
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a Grid Connections Engineer or similar role
- Background within renewables, power, utilities, BESS, solar, EV infrastructure or energy projects
- Good understanding of grid connection processes in the UK market
- Ability to work with technical, commercial and delivery teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
