Our client is a global manufacturer of specialist scientific instrumentation, helping laboratories around the world enable advancements in many areas such as pharmaceutical, food, environmental and healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Servicing, installing and repairing Scientific instrumentation onsite, specialising in the company’s Inorganic product range (ICP, FT-IR, UV/Vis, GC & AA instrumentation)
- Covering a local territory across the M4 corridor with travel further afield in the South of England
- Diagnosing faults on complex scientific equipment ensuring prompt, flexible and customer focused support
- Managing equipment parts and spare parts
Qualifications
- HND in engineering or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience servicing complex scientific instrumentation (Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, Automation) from a range of instrument vendors
- Knowledge of GMP
- Full driving license and willingness to travel up to 80% of your time
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
