The Role
You will support the growth of strategic Private Equity partnerships, working with senior teams to deepen partnerships, accelerate value creation, and scale the broader Private Equity Practice. You will develop insights on value creation opportunities, lead quantitative and qualitative analysis, and drive customer‑facing engagements.
Responsibilities
- Support senior team in maintaining relationships with strategic Private Equity partners.
- Advocate for the partnership within the Private Equity firm and at Salesforce.
- Understand Salesforce product suite and propose optimal solutions for portfolio companies.
- Assist Private Equity in developing growth strategies for carve‑outs and new acquisitions.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies post‑announcement to rethink operating models and align Salesforce capabilities.
- Partner with alliances and sales teams to expand advisory partners.
- Execute go‑to‑market plans with clear success metrics.
- Act as connective tissue between account teams and the Private Equity Practice to accelerate opportunities.
- Articulate the value of Salesforce across B2B and B2C Private Equity‑owned portfolio companies.
- Navigate partnership program intricacies, politics, and strategies.
- Support sales account managers to drive value creation and pipeline growth.
- Contribute to portfolio performance reviews to assess operational metrics.
- Leverage Salesforce resources to ensure portfolio company customer success.
- Own strategic projects that contribute to overall growth of the Private Equity Practice.
Required Experience
- Influencing decisions in corporate transactions with public and private investment teams.
- International experience, both with customers and teams.
- Exposure at the C‑level, gaining deep insight into business dynamics of large enterprises across industries.
- Exceptional communication, strategy, analytical, influencing and consulting skills with a track record in complex, multidisciplinary teams.
- High tolerance for ambiguity, focus, and ability to deliver in a constantly evolving environment.
- Self‑starter with strong work ethic and values that inspire others.
- Strong ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Willingness to travel >30% of the time.
Desired Experience
- Experience in private equity/credit, venture capital, premier consulting, investment banking, M&A, strategy, enterprise software, or digital transformation.
- Experience in M&A, corporate strategy or digital transformation.
- Experience in strategic business development.
