Product Design Lead

What you will need
- British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship
- Ability to lead small teams to achieve planned outcomes
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and design baselines
Salary and rewards
Up to £57,000 per year
Your role
- Lead a small team delivering new equipment software designs
- Support development of hardware build standards
- Engage with wider project stakeholders within the system design process
- Manage change processes and oversee embodiment of new designs
Your profile
- Experience generating detailed functional design documentation from requirements
- Proficiency in DOORS, Rhapsody or similar engineering/configuration tools
- Strong technical problem-solving skills for investigating and resolving design issues
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, preferably in a STEM field
- Ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams
- Passion for understanding challenging customer needs and producing product solutions
