Men Who Talk is recruiting up to three new Trustees to join our board over the next year as we enter an exciting period of growth.
Responsibilities
We are looking for 2–3 proactive, strategic individuals to join our board of trustees. All trustees share collective responsibility for governance, strategy, and financial oversight, but we particularly seek people who can take a lead on Business Development & Partnerships—helping scale the trading side of our charity, including corporate workshops, training packages, and institutional partnerships with universities and employers.
The board meets quarterly, alternating between online and in‑person meetings in Central London, with a time commitment of up to 8 hours per month. Additional sub‑committees may be established as we grow. The minimum term is three years.
Hybrid working arrangement is available.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and genuine passion for men's mental health.
Prior trustee experience is welcome but not essential. We value strategic thinking, relevant professional expertise, and a willingness to get stuck in.
We particularly welcome applications from diverse communities, and the role is open to all, including female‑identifying individuals.
Benefits
Trustees benefit from an annual training and development budget, the chance to represent the charity at events across the UK, and all out‑of‑pocket expenses covered with prior approval.
How to Apply
Applications are to be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year recruitment period. Once you’re ready, submit your CV and a cover letter via Reach. We encourage potential applicants to read the attached Recruitment Pack for more details before applying.
