Purpose of the role

The Product Manager is responsible for the success of the product across its full lifecycle. This includes defining the product vision, gathering and prioritising customer and business requirements, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, support, and other key stakeholders to deliver strong business outcomes.

The role combines strategic thinking with practical execution. You will help shape product direction, turn ideas into clear requirements, support delivery from concept to launch, and ensure the product continues to meet customer needs and business goals. You will also work directly with clients to understand their challenges, improve adoption, and support customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Product strategy

  • Own product initiatives from idea through discovery, delivery, launch, and ongoing improvement.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap in alignment with business goals.
  • Write clear product definitions that set out the vision, objectives, and key requirements.
  • Prioritise needs across customers, features, technical improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Define product pricing and positioning with input from key stakeholders.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user journeys, and prototypes.
  • Help development teams make informed trade‑offs across competing priorities.
  • Ensure product decisions support customer needs and business objectives.

Product execution

  • Lead the product development cycle from discovery to launch and iteration.
  • Prioritise work based on customer impact and business value.
  • Review product designs and suggest improvements where needed.
  • Act as a champion for the product across the business.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Support the development team by answering product‑related queries.
  • Manage roadmaps, releases, beta testing, and pilot programmes.

Data‑driven and customer‑focused working

  • Build a strong understanding of the customer experience and identify opportunities to improve it.
  • Use customer behaviour, usage trends, and feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Analyse data to identify issues, opportunities, and new feature ideas.
  • Represent the customer perspective throughout the development process.
  • Define and track KPIs that measure product and business impact.
  • Use insights to support short‑term improvements and longer‑term strategy.

Stakeholder influence

  • Build trust and buy‑in for the product vision across the business and with external partners.
  • Lead discussions to gather business and technical requirements.
  • Help manage dependencies across teams and functions.
  • Address escalations by framing problems clearly and supporting solution development.
  • Share product and market insights with stakeholders.
  • Work effectively with cross‑functional teams to keep delivery on track.

Client needs

  • Gather client feedback and share insights with internal teams.
  • Track key client success measures, including usage, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Represent the client voice in product and service discussions.
  • Help ensure client needs are reflected in product decisions and priorities.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in product management and product development.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer‑focused with strong empathy and commercial awareness.
  • Confident, proactive, and detail‑oriented.
  • Comfortable working in a data‑driven environment.
  • Able to interpret feedback and turn it into practical recommendations.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Experience managing digital asset workflows or similar product/process solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a track record of working well across teams.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in travel is desirable.
