Senior Programme Manager
Senior Programme Manager will work as part of a dynamic South West London Acute Provider Collaborative (APC) team and will shape and implement transformation programmes within the SWL Elective Programme to improve patient outcomes, access, productivity and service quality.

Job responsibilities
- Design new transformation programmes in collaboration with clinical leads and senior colleagues.
- Strategically plan and manage programmes and projects, including specific workstreams.
- Organise project management structures and workstreams.
- Establish and manage stakeholder groups and working groups.
- Oversee full implementation of programmes and projects, ensuring delivery against milestones.
- Provide cross‑cover for other programme areas and senior programme managers as required.
- Engage with NHS England, CGS, ICT providers, clinical leads, GPs, and other stakeholders.
- Draft business cases and external bids to support funding.
- Lead communications and stakeholder engagement strategy for each programme.
Qualifications
- Educated to Masters level in a relevant area.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- At least one of the following: Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes Advanced Practitioner, P3O Practitioner, APM Registered Project Professional, or Project Leadership Programme.
Experience
- Managing and delivering complex change projects.
- Scoping, designing, implementing and evaluating transformational change across organisations.
- Interpreting national policy and implementing through programmes of work.
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage across all levels.
- Ability to lead and motivate across teams in planning and implementing service development and change across organisational boundaries.
- Evidence of turning strategy and policy into action.
- Understanding of the NHS England healthcare system and its changes.

£72,719 to £83,505 a year (pro rata, inclusive of HCAS, outer London).
