Job Description
Do you want full autonomy to lead operations for our chemical manufacturing site near Kidderminster? With a role encompassing the whole production operation including planning, logistics and warehousing, as our new Operations Manager, you will help develop our chemical manufacturing facility to the next level with a hands‑on approach to management and leadership. Genuine Site Leadership succession plan too.
BASIC SALARY: Up to GBP 70,000 (dependent on your relevant experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee production and warehousing activities providing leadership and guidance
- Ensure production facility adheres to all QHSE standards
- Develop key members of your production team to succession plan and help them achieve their full potential
- Work closely with procurement on stock levels and overseeing production scheduling
Background
- Solid production management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable and competent on the shop floor or in a board room
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Competent knowledge of quality management systems, health and safety and lean manufacturing
- Worked on various ERP / MRP systems
- Background in chemical manufacturing is a must, but open on what chemicals, with a solid relevant operational background
- Expectations include relevant certification such as IOSH/NEBOSH, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma etc
