Overview
Reporting to the Director of Estates & Facilities, the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that services operate and develop in line with the Trust’s core values as well as providing leadership within the organisation and be a line manager for staff within the Estates and Facilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex, sensitive situations across all staff disciplines, including organisational change, investigating complaints, and serious incidents.
- Communicate effectively with managers, clinicians, staff, patients and public within the organisation.
- Deliver on agreed service improvement targets.
- Work with peers and line manager to understand cross directorate implications of changes within the directorate.
- Effectively manage and provide leadership for staff in the service area and managing direct reports.
- Monitor and review performance of objectives within own area of responsibility, identifying key measurable outputs to improve the productivity and efficiency of service provision.
- Manage and develop existing and new services in line with national standards, frameworks and the PFI contract.
Qualifications
- Experience of Operational Facilities Management within a PFI setting.
- Experience within the NHS (either direct or service provider / PFI Partner).
- Experience of Service Level Agreements and Contractual obligations.
- MIWFM.

Build Recruitment are working with an NHS Trust based in the East of England to source an Operations Manager (PFI) for a minimum 3‑month contract paying £35.66 umbrella per hour.
