Job Description:

Are you an experienced Doors, Gates and Barriers Business Development Manager looking for a progressive role? We are keen to speak with professionals who can represent our brand, develop new clientele by prospecting for new customers, generate leads, and convert those leads into sales of Gates, Barriers, Turnstiles, Speed Lanes, Bollards, and perimeter fencing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new sales leads and convert them into installations.
  • Survey sites and create accurate job costings using the costing sheets with agreed margins to produce quotations for customers.
  • Provide a clear scope of work to the installation department project lead to facilitate a clean, efficient installation.
  • Report all monthly business forecasts to the Sales Director, Group Commercial Director and Operations Director.
  • Develop business relationships with customers and maintain those relationships.
  • Ensure all prospective jobs are logged on the C4 Windows CRM system to enable reports and analysis based on sales, costs and margins.
  • Be accountable for customer satisfaction through the quality of the sale and precise communication.
  • Support the company strategy and drive this forward in the Business Development process.
  • Remain continually aware of changes in compliance and product development.
  • Achieve additional bonus for selling maintenance with installation sales.

Qualifications

  • Experience with surveying and the sale of Automatic Gates and Barriers is a necessity.
  • Previous experience as a Doors, Gates and Barriers Business Development Manager.
  • Other additional sales experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in front‑line sales with excellent conversion rates and a proven track record.
  • Professional approach.
  • Personality: Self‑motivated, driven, energetic, and enthusiastic.
  • Good knowledge of product range.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Self‑starter with proven ability to multitask and excellent organisational skills.

  • Full clean driving licence.
