Job Description:

We’re partnering with a leading global technology and consulting organisation looking to hire a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the UK Utilities sector.

This is a pure hunting role focused on winning new logos and building a strong pipeline across energy, water, and renewables clients.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in expanding market share across the Utilities sector, selling a broad portfolio of:

  • IT Services
  • Business Process Services

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and leadership, helping shape and execute sales strategy while personally leading new business pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, shape and win new business opportunities across the Utilities sector
  • Build and maintain relationships at senior (CxO) level
  • Develop compelling propositions and business cases
  • Lead sales cycles from initial engagement through to deal closure
  • Contribute to sector sales strategy and go-to-market approach
  • Maintain strong pipeline management, reporting, and bid governance
  • Drive new logo acquisition across the UK

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record of winning new business in the Utilities sector
  • Experience selling IT services, outsourcing or consulting solutions
  • Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
  • Commercially aware with experience structuring complex deals
  • Highly driven, target-focused and resilient

Experience Required

  • Strong experience within the Utilities sector (energy, water, renewables)
  • Background in consultative / solution sales
  • Experience working within major global System Integrators
  • Understanding of IT services, industry trends, and market dynamics
