Our client is a medium sized specialty pharmaceutical company that makes a meaningful difference to people’s lives every day through specialised prescription medication and research into diseases with limited or no treatment currently available.

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and personable Office Manager to ensure the smooth, efficient, and compliant running of our UK office. This is a central role supporting colleagues across administration, facilities management, HR coordination, and operational processes. You will act as a trusted point of contact for internal teams and external partners, helping to maintain a supportive, safe, and productive working environment.

This is a varied and hands‑on position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting, enjoys problem‑solving, and brings experience from busy office environments – whether corporate, non‑profit, public sector, or fast‑growth organisations.

The role will require at least four days office presence with one day remote option.

Key Responsibilities

Office Manager – UK (Windsor area)

Office & Facilities Management

  • Oversee day‑to‑day office operations, ensuring a safe, functional, and well‑maintained workspace.
  • Maintain supplier relationships, service contracts, warranties, building maintenance schedules, and office insurance.
  • Ensure compliance with UK health & safety, fire safety, and all relevant workplace regulations.

People & Culture Support

  • Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes in partnership with HR.
  • Act as a friendly, reliable point of contact for office‑related queries from staff.
  • Help coordinate team social events and initiatives that support a positive workplace culture.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Manage office expenditure, purchase orders, reimbursements, and invoice processing in line with finance policies.
  • Review invoices, cross‑check against purchase/work orders, and raise discrepancies as needed.
  • Provide high‑level administrative support to managers and visiting executives.
  • Support occasional travel coordination and logistics.
  • Assist with company policy updates and operational reviews.

What You Bring

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Confidence operating in fast‑paced or international environments.
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to problem‑solving.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Solid IT proficiency across common office software.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong time‑management abilities and comfort working to deadlines.
