About the Role
As a number of long-term PFI contracts come to an end, we’re looking for someone with hands‑on PFI experience to help manage the transition. This is a great opportunity for a commercially aware Facilities Manager (or similar) who understands how PFI contracts work and is ready to step into something a little different.
You’ll play a key role in making sure services, assets, and responsibilities are smoothly handed back, working with a range of stakeholders across the public sector.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the delivery of PFI contract exits and transitions
- Interpreting contract requirements and turning them into practical plans
- Coordinating asset and service handovers
- Working closely with clients, partners, and internal teams
- Managing risks, timelines, and key deliverables
- Ensuring everything is compliant, well‑documented, and on track
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working on a PFI contract (ideally across hard and/or soft FM)
- Good understanding of how PFI contracts operate in practice
- Commercial awareness and confidence working with stakeholders
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Someone ready to take the next step and shape their own role
