Lead Product Designer

Our client is a SaaS Business based in Leeds City Centre with a focus on Retail. They are looking to a hire their first Lead Product Designer to help shape the user experience for next-gen web apps and help transform legacy on-prem systems to modern web based portals. This role is 4 days a week on site in Leeds City Centre.

Description

• Lead the end-to-end design process for digital products, from research to implementation
• Discover and Define
• User Flows and Task Mapping
• Low fidelity Wireframing, Interactive prototyping, Concept Useability Testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user needs and business goals
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards
• Identify and address design challenges with creative and practical solutions
• Stay updated on industry trends and integrate best practices into the design process

Profile

• Must haves:
  • Experience with modern web apps and transforming legacy systems
  • Experience in designing data-rich, complex enterprise workflows
  • Worked on data heavy applications
  • Strong user-centered design, research & usability testing
  • Strong collaboration skills
• Nice to haves:
  • React
  • Worked on SaaS products
  • Background in retail on FMCG
