Content & Storytelling Lead – ClimateTech Platform ⚡️

We’re partnering with a fast‑growing ClimateTech business that’s rethinking how homeowners improve energy efficiency in their homes, making it simpler, more transparent, and genuinely human.

They’ve recently raised a £2.5m seed round and are now building out their growth function, having already invested heavily into sales. Now, the focus is on brand, trust, and education.

This is a considered purchase journey (typically £20k–£100k), with customers doing months of research before making a decision so content is everything here.

Not fluffy content, real, trust‑building, educational storytelling that helps people make one of the biggest decisions for their home.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning end-to-end storytelling across the entire customer journey, from awareness through to conversion (this is not just “posting content”)
  • Producing high-quality, human‑led case studies by visiting homes, interviewing customers, and capturing real “before & after” stories
  • Leading video creation from scratch, scripting, filming and editing YouTube deep‑dives and short‑form content (Reels/TikTok/Shorts)
  • Building out YouTube as a core research and acquisition channel, focusing on hooks, retention and strong storytelling
  • Creating educational content that simplifies complex topics like retrofitting, insulation and energy efficiency
  • Writing high-quality, SEO‑driven content that ranks on Google but feels like advice from a trusted expert
  • Repurposing long‑form content into multi‑channel distribution (social, email, website, video snippets)
  • Working closely with the CEO and technical teams to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives
  • Helping define and build a consistent brand voice across all touchpoints

What they’re looking for:

  • 3–5 years experience creating high-quality, branded content (video + written)
  • Someone genuinely hands‑on, comfortable behind a camera, in an edit, and writing long‑form content
  • Strong storytelling instincts, able to turn complex, technical journeys into emotional, human stories
  • Experience creating content for considered purchase journeys or multi‑stakeholder decisions (B2B SaaS or similar helpful)
  • A natural interviewer, able to get the real story out of customers
  • Strong understanding of content funnels (awareness vs trust vs conversion)
  • Someone who understands YouTube, hooks, thumbnails, retention, and how people actually consume content
  • Comfortable using AI tools to speed up production and focus on higher‑value creative work
  • Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‑moving, non‑corporate environment
