Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

As a Market Research Analyst, you will support the delivery of high‑quality market insight and analysis. You’ll help gather and interpret industry, economic and workforce data to identify emerging trends and inform strategic decision‑making across RICS and its wider stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyse data on market trends, economic indicators and sector developments.
  • Support the creation of research reports, briefs and thought‑leadership content.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify risks, opportunities and skill needs.
  • Work with internal teams to share insights and support content, policy and product development.
  • Build relationships with industry experts, academies and partners to gather intelligence.
  • Contribute to competitive analysis and strategic insights that support RICS’ commercial and professional goals.

About You

You’re analytical, curious and detail‑driven, with strong research skills and an interest in the built environment.

Experience / Skills:

  • A degree in Economics, Business, Real Estate, Surveying, Policy or a relevant field (preferred).
  • Experience in market research, data analysis or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset and enthusiasm for data‑driven insight.
