Base Metals – Business Analyst (OEMS / Front Office Change)
A leading financial institution is seeking a Business Analyst to support the delivery of a new Front Office Order Execution Management System (OEMS) for the Base Metals business. This is a key role within the eCommerce Digital IT team, working across operating model design, requirements gathering, vendor engagement, and full delivery lifecycle support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Document current and target operating models for RFQ, Order Management, Pricing and related workflows
- Capture business and functional requirements for the OEMS platform
- Work with vendors to assess capabilities and identify gaps
- Support solution design with internal architecture teams
- Produce functional specs for integration with risk, credit, static data and market data platforms
- Support SIT, UAT and go‑live readiness, including issue analysis and resolution
What We’re Looking For
- Business Analyst experience in Front Office environments
- Knowledge of OEMS/OMS/EMS, RFQ workflows, pricing, quoting or similar systems
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and workshop skills
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams
Nice to Have
- Base Metals product knowledge
- Experience across eTrading or Front Office integration projects
