About The Role
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Manager to lead our passionate and driven team based at our Ipswich office, on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Credit Control team, motivating and managing the teams and taking responsibility for their overall output
- Working closely with other department managers to ensure we are working in the most efficient way
- Ensuring individual and team KPIs are achieved within the team
- Manage and develop the Credit Control team, including coaching and supporting the existing team and facilitating comprehensive inductions for new members of the team
- Build and maintain relationships with major stakeholders and work alongside the finance team leaders in each key business area to ensure that the function is providing the best available data to support the business operations
- Implementing and continually improving internal controls, harmonising processes to best practice
- Creation of compliance frameworks and driving best practices within the systems environment
- Ensuring correct training is provided to staff within the Credit Control function and other departments across the business
- Delivery of all reports, schedules, and information to relevant stakeholders, to drive strategic decision making, within tight deadlines
- Drive system upgrades and development for the credit control team, ensuring workflows are correctly followed
In order to be successful within this role, you will have:
Required
- Demonstrable experience managing a successful credit control function
- Strong leadership experience, including coaching and team development
- Strategic skills and ability to drive continual improvement across the full function
- Proven experience designing and maintaining internal control frameworks
- Effective communication across a range of stakeholders to ensure outputs from the function are maximised
- A results driven and positive approach, with a particular interest in inspiring and driving teams to achieve success within a fast paced and dynamic business
- An eagerness to continuously improve learning and development within your team, yourself and the wider business, to drive knowledge, understanding and strong business partnering within Credit Control
- High level of Microsoft Excel competency
Desirable
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OCR technology
