Job Description

• Oversee project budgets and prepare financial reports.
• Monitor project costs and ensure accurate allocation of expenses.
• Collaborate with project managers to forecast financial outcomes.
• Analyse and report on project performance to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support month‑end and year‑end financial close processes.
• Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of audits and financial reviews.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Accountant should have:

• Proven experience in the industrial and manufacturing industry.
• A strong background in project accounting and financial management.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
• A recognised qualification in accounting or finance, eg, ICAS, CIMA or ACCA
• Prior experience with implementing IFRS 16
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• The ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
