Business Analyst

We are supporting a growing company seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their delivery team, working on large-scale transformation programmes within the Higher Education sector.

This role will focus on delivering complex projects using Salesforce-based solutions, working closely with both business and technical stakeholders in an agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to shape and manage the product backlog (epics and user stories)
• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions with development teams
• Act as a key communication link between business, product and technical teams
• Support developers and testers by clarifying requirements and removing blockers
• Contribute to system testing and user acceptance testing activities
• Produce clear documentation to support sprint delivery and wider project needs
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple teams and locations
• Deliver presentations, workshops, and show & tell sessions (virtual and in-person)
• Prepare high-quality documentation and training materials for end users
• Mentor junior team members and support team development
• Promote a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Business Analyst role within technology or consulting environments
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
• Experience writing user stories and managing artefacts in tools such as JIRA
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum) and associated ceremonies
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
• Experience working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities
