As a Rents Data Assurance Analyst, you will take ownership of complex reconciliations, improve data integrity and support accurate financial reporting across key housing income streams.
This role is perfect for finance graduates, part‑qualified accountants or analysts with 1–2 years’ experience who have strong Excel skills and are looking for progression in a large organisation.

The Role
You will ensure the accuracy of rents‑related financial data across multiple systems, working closely with Finance and Housing Systems teams.
- Perform complex reconciliations between housing and finance systems
- Investigate discrepancies and clear legacy mismatches
- Validate the accuracy of P&L and balance sheet entries
- Analyse large, complex data sets using advanced Excel
- Support audit readiness and post‑system‑implementation data integrity
Main Duties
You’ll play a hands‑on role in strengthening financial controls and improving reporting accuracy.
- Reconcile rents, arrears, bad debt provision and related balances
- Resolve discrepancies between NEC and D365, including historic issues
- Produce clear documentation on reconciliation outcomes
- Collaborate with system owners to improve data flows and controls
- Manage large data sets using Excel, formulas, lookups and modelling
- Support continuous improvement within the Finance team
The Successful Candidate
- Finance professional at an early career stage
- Finance graduate with strong numeracy
- Analyst with 1–2 years’ experience in a data‑driven finance role
- Exceptional Excel skills (comfortable with large data sets, pivots, lookups, logic formulas)
- Experience in reconciliations, data validation or financial controls
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to spot anomalies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
