Quantity Surveyor in Milford Haven

We are seeking a proactive and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our team, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded QS looking to develop their career within a dynamic and growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the financial and contractual aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Prepare cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
• Evaluate subcontractor tenders and manage procurement processes
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow
• Assess and manage variations and change control
• Conduct interim valuations and agree final accounts
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within commercial and residential construction
• Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., JCT and/or NEC)
• Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field)
